Blueberry Cake

directions |
2 eggs, separated
1/2 c butter
1/3 c milk
1 tea vanilla
1 tea baking powder
1 1/2 c. flour
1 1/2 c. floured blueberries
|
Use egg yolks in cake. Beat whites until stiff. Add 1/4 c of the sugar and fold in gently. Set aside. Mix remaining ingredients. You should coat the berries with some of the flour before mixing them in. This will keep them from sinking to the bottom of the cake pan. Once batter is well mixed, fold in egg whites. Grease and flour the cake pan. Pour into an 8 x 8 cake pan.
