***** Strawberry Jello Salad *****

1 small box strawberry Jell-O
1 cup boiling water
1 10 ounce frozen strawberries
1 mashed banana
1 small can crushed pineapple
1 cup walnuts
8 ounces sour cream
|
Dissolve Jell-O into boiling water.
Add frozen berries when Jell-O has cooled. Now add crushed pineapple.
Divine mixture in half. Chill half and set aside the other. To remaining add mashed banana, and walnuts. When first part is almost firm, spread sour cream on top. Now pour remaining Jell-O mixture on top of sour cream. Chill until set.

Not sure where mom got this one either but probably Aunt Marie... Holiday favorite...
