4 red potatoes diced
1 sweet onion diced
chicken broth
1 stick butter
4 TBSP flour
1/2 and 1/2 OR milk
corn (optional)

Combine potatoes, onion, and chicken broth and put in crock pot. Cook on low for 6-8 hours.
Dump out 1/2 the chicken broth. Melt 1/2 stick of butter in saucepan. Stir in the 4 TBSP flour. Cook till thick. Put in soup. Put the
other 1/2 of stick in with the soup. Add either 1/2 and 1/2 or milk depending on how rich you want it. Continue cooking on low heat till thick and warm. You may add corn to this.
If you do add corn, don't add the corn till after the milk. Salt and pepper to taste. Also may add parsley or chives. .
