ingredients |
directions |
3 cups cooked sliced beets
½ cup sugar
1 TBSP corn starch
2 TBSP butter
1 tea salt
¼ cup vinegar
¼ cup beet liquid or water
|
Mix sugar, salt, and corn starch. Add vinegar and water and stir until smooth. Cook five minutes. Add beets to the hot sauce and let stand 30 minutes. Just before serving, bring to a boil, and add butter.
