Part I
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cut molasses
1 egg
2 cups water
1 TBSP flour
1 tea vanilla
Part II
2 cups flour
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup shortening
1 tea baking soda

Boil "Part I" until it thickens. Set aside. Rub "Part II" together for crumbs.
Pour boiled mixture in unbaked pie crusts and spread crumbs on top.
Bake at 350 till done.
Makes 3 medium sized cakes.
