3 cups sugar
1.75 cups corn syrup
1 cup water
5 cups raw shelled peanuts
1/4 stick butter
3/4 TBSP baking soda
1 tea salt

Cook sugar, syrup and water to 240 degrees. Add peanuts and cook to 295 degrees. Stir Constantly. Take off heat and add butter. STir till dissolved, add soda,
salt, stirring vigorously. Pour into buttered slab and spread as thinly as possible. Break or cut into pieces wheen cool.
