Sausage Gravy on Biscuits

1 LB sage flavored bulk sausage
2 T finely minced onion
6 T all purpose flour
1 qt. milk
1/4 tea grated nutmeg
1/2 tea poultry seasoning
dash Worcestershire sauce
dash Tabasco
15 large hot baking powder biscuits

Crumble sausage in large saucepan and sauté over med-low heat, breaking into small pieces. Do not allow it to get too brown or crisp. When meat is 3/4 cooked, add onion. Drain off all but 2 T meat drippings and stir in the flour with a wire whisk. Cook over med-low heat until flour turns golden (4-5 minutes). Pour in milk all at once and add seasonings. Cook and whisk until thickened. Serve on biscuits.
